    Concurrent Design Strategy for Improving Public Wheelchairs for People with Disabilities

    Traveling abroad is an easy activity for regular individuals, but it can be an inconvenience to those with disabilities. To ensure airport and aviation security, passengers with disabilities are required to fold and check-in their wheelchairs, use an airport-supplied wheelchair, present themselves at the airline counter, and go through a security check. Once they enter the cabin, they move to another wheelchair, which is designed to fit in the cabin aisles. Such an accessibility service of requiring passengers with disabilities to move from the airline counter in one wheelchair and then change to another in order to reach the cabin is inconvenient and underlines. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new type of wheelchair. Based on the aforementioned reasons, this study will use a concurrent design strategy to design a wheelchair as described earlier according to the concept of simultaneous design. First, find out the positioning of the product, then use the target tree to formulate the design specification, and use the finite structure analysis method (FSM) to conceive and diverge. Then select the best solution based on PUGH concept matrix selection, and complete the detailed design and 3D model. The results show that this procedure can simplify wheelchair design, improve the competitiveness of wheelchairs in the market, meet the needs of people with disabilities, ensure wheelchair quality, and enhance the likelihood of its mass production.     Keywords: disabilities, concurrent design, objective tree analysis, pugh decisionmatrix metho

    Concurrent Design Strategy in Modeling and Structure of Electric Scooter for Young Disabilities

    Disabled people often use the electric scooter as a means of transport. However, the electric scooter designed for disabilities is too bulky and not light in shape. It is not only awkward on the road but brings inconvenience to young people with disabilities. In the first phase of the study, first the electric scooter with a higher market share as a design reference was collected; then we use the image scale analysis to determine the market position of the electric scooter. Combine each major component and derive detail design of the product through Morphological chart method and Finite Structure Method (FSM). This study uses this method to complete the development of product modeling and analyze the configuration of the product as the main function in the structural and main function in space. Let function and appearance have the efficient combination. Then use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to obtain objective decision results.     Lower bounds on photometric redshift errors from Type Ia supernovae templates

    Cosmology with Type Ia supernovae heretofore has required extensive spectroscopic follow-up to establish a redshift. Though tolerable at the present discovery rate, the next generation of ground-based all-sky survey instruments will render this approach unsustainable. Photometry-based redshift determination is a viable alternative, but introduces non-negligible errors that ultimately degrade the ability to discriminate between competing cosmologies. We present a strictly template-based photometric redshift estimator and compute redshift reconstruction errors in the presence of photometry and statistical errors. With reasonable assumptions for a cadence and supernovae distribution, these redshift errors are combined with systematic errors and propagated using the Fisher matrix formalism to derive lower bounds on the joint errors in Ωw\Omega_w and Ωw′\Omega_w' relevant to the next generation of ground-based all-sky survey.Comment: 23 pages, 6 figure

    Icy bodies, such as Pluto, are known to harbor simple and complex molecules. The recent New Horizons flyby of Pluto has revealed a complex surface composed of bright and dark ice surfaces, indicating a rich chemistry based on nitrogen (N2), methane (CH4), and carbon monoxide (CO). Nitrile (CN) containing molecules such as acetonitrile (CH3CN), propionitrile (CH3CH2CN), butyronitrile (CH3CH2CH2CN), and isobutyronitrile ((CH3)2CHCN) are some of the nitrile molecules that are known to be synthesized by radiative processing of such simple ices.
